About me

It all started when…

Back in 2015, after more than 10 years of corporate career, I found myself facing a particularly stressful professional period.

To better support my recovery, I decided to participate to a detox retreat in Spain where I had the chance to familiarise with the influence that nutrition has on both physical and mental health. This fuelled my interest so much that I went on to obtain a Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching.

My passion towards health and wellbeing finally led me to take a very big decision in my mid-thirties: I took time off work, moved from Switzerland to Scotland and studied towards a Master of Science in Psychology of Mental Health, with a final research project focused on resilience.

This helped me bringing it all together: you cannot have good physical health without good mental health, and viceversa.

I briefely worked as a mental health support worker, volunteered as crisis counsellor for Shout, then trained in Counselling skills, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy techniques.

With the richness of this range of knowledge I started creating workshops, presentations and even online courses to make fundamental wellbeing education easily accessible to anyone.

I am also a fierce mental health advocate, and work as a Trustee and Board Member at the Scottish mental health charity Health in Mind.
