Health & Wellbeing Workshops

 

My signature health & wellbeing workshops will guide the audience in implementing long-term, sustainable behavioural and lifestyle changes for a healthier and happier life.

With a duration of about 2 hours, workshops are ideal for offering information and actionable advice about a specific aspect of wellbeing. They are a good way to address common wellbeing concerns and start positive and constructive changes. They are designed for 6-12 participants to maximise the experience quality.

My content and material are rigorously science-based and I continuously integrate new research into my sessions. I tackle nutrition, lifestyle and mental health in a holistic way because they influence each other and they all play a fundamental role in an individual’s overall wellbeing.

Coaching, teaching, counselling, CBT (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and positive psychology techniques are blended together to offer engaging workshops with a truly unique integrative approach, delivered in a clear, competent and engaging style.

Control Stress and Anxiety

What is stress? What consequences does it have on the body and the mind? An insightful overview on the origins, causes and symptoms of stress with practical tips to cope with situations that trigger stress or anxiety reactions. CBT (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy) tools are shared to provide participants with practical tools to control stress. Some advice will also be shared on how to provide first aid to someone in distress.

 

Stay healthy with nutrition

This workshop debunks the myriad of myths surrounding nutrition, and encourages the audience to assess their nutrition know-how, including how to read and interpret food labels. The session will provide easy ways to improve their diet, boost energy levels and prevent disease; it will also illustrate how food influences sleep and mood. At the end a tasty, healthy and nutritious lunch / snacks, provided by a trusted partner, can be included.

 

Build Resilience with Purpose

This workshop is designed to demonstrate how nutrition and lifestyle choices can improve personal resilience. It also shows how to deal skilfully with difficult or unhelpful thoughts and feelings, helps participants to become more aware of the qualities they most want to express in daily behaviour, and take actions more in line with their values.
